Our child care center is open between the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday for any administrative business.  Our center is closed on major holidays.

Our preschool programs operate from 9:30am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday or from 9:30am-12:00pm or 12:30pm-3:00pm. We follow the Howard County Public School System's calendar to determinedays that our program is closed.  Our program operates from September-May. 

In order to help our office staff allot enough time for your questions, it is helpful for you to contact us and schedule an appointment to visit any of our classrooms. 

Though we are affiliated with our Episcopal Church, our program is not religiously orientated in any specific direction.  You will find that we do celebrate the holidays of Easter and Christmas, as well as we do say grace at meals and teach manners and respect for others.  

All of our staff have met the licensing regulations required by the state of Maryland to work with children.  All of our staff members are fingerprinted and receive continued training throughout the year.  Depending upon the position, the teachers are required to have a certain amount of college coursework and experience working with children.

Yes, we do offer a summer program.  Our summer camp is offered to children who will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall through Grade 8.  It runs from 8:30am-4:30pm with before and after care offered.  You have the option to choose the weeks you wish to attend.  Please see our summer camp flier for more information.

Children attending our Child Care Program are automatically enrolled for the summer.

In order for your child to attend our Preschool Programs, your child does need to be potty trained.  If your child is enrolled in our Child Care Program, before they can move to our 3 Year Old Classroom, they also need to be potty trained.

Our infant program is extremely popular and our best advice is to go on the waiting list prior to the birth of your child.  It can take 3-6 months to get a space and sometimes longer based on our waiting list.  It is best to give us a call and we can give you an idea about whether we will have space available when you need it.

We do offer part time care for children in our Child Care Program from the Toddler Room through the 4 Year Old Classroom if we have space available.  For a part time spot, you are required to attend a minimum of two days per week.  Please see our fee schedule for a detailed price list.

Our Child Care Program is only closed approximately 15 days per year for major holidays.  We also are closed or open late in the case of inclement weather based on the decision of the Howard County Public School System.

Our Preschool Programs follow the Howard County Public School System's calendar for holiday celebrations and professional work days.   

Based on the age group of the children and the size of the classroom, our staff/child ratios and classroom maximums are: 

Infant Classroom:  1:3; maximum of 6 students

Toddler Classroom:  1:3; maximum of 6 students

2's Classroom:  1-6; maximum of 12 students

3's Classroom:  1-10; maximum of 20 students

4's Classroom:  1-10; maximum of 20 students

Preschool Classrooms:  1-10; maximum of 20 students

Yes, we do!  Our Child Care Program students receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.  Our 5 Day Preschool Program is served lunch daily.
